Welcome to our new Ta2 You blog!

I guess I should start by introducing myself. I’m Kayla Tremblay, a professional tattoo artist and studio owner out of Niagara Falls, Canada. I never thought I would create a blog or become a “blogger” but.. here she is.

I previously prejudged blogging for being something only for pro writers or for people with a ton of time on their hands. However I realized you just need passion for the subject, to be sure to set aside a bit of time for writing, and the rest flows. It seemed to come easy to me as my serious passion for art, tattoos, and the industry as a whole, had me wanting to share my experiences and knowledge over the last decade.

I have been tattooing now for 9 years, coming up on 10 this summer and it never gets old for me. The excitement and joy it brings me everyday. It’s in my blood, so they say.

As a tattoo shop owner, I often consider ways of helping the industry to grow, even in the smallest ways. Then I began to think that creating a blog seemed to be the best way to educate my current clients, future clients and whoever may be interested in getting a tattoo from anyone or anywhere. And what a good way to start a discussion forum for questions or topics I haven’t even thought needed answered. A perfect way to help clients have a smooth and positive tattoo experience all around.

I’m really looking forward to sharing my perspective of what I have learned throughout my time spent in the tattoo industry. Hopefully these blogs will help shed some light on the industry from both viewpoints, client and artist. Comments, questions and feedback are welcomed!
